Onion - White Portugal
White Portugal is a popular vegetable either raw or cooked, as a flavoring in salads, soups, sandwiches and stew. They may be pulled when stem and bulb are 1/4" in diameter or allowed to form larger onions.
If larger bulbs are desired pull every other plant for rareripes and allow others to mature. For best results, cultivate, water, and fertilize regularly.
