Pumpkin - Connecticut Field
This variety produces large fruit, 10 -14 inches in diameter weighing up to 25 lbs. This is the standard cornfield variety, can be grown anywhere, and is excellent for craving Jack O'Lanterns. Orange-yellow flesh is valued for making pies.
May also be planted among corn. Cut pumpkins from vines with pruning shears leaving 3 inches of the stem.
