Squash White Cap Scallop

This summer squash has scalloped edge fruits that are pale green when young, tuning creamy white when mature. Sometimes known as Patty Pan squash. Pick fruit when young to obtain best flavor and texture.

Plants will continue to produce tender, vitamin rich fruit until frost, if all fruit are picked before they mature.

Planting time - spring or indoors 4-6 weeks earlier

Matures in - 54 days

Germinates in - 10-14 days

Sowing depth - 1/2 inch

Hill spacing - 3-4 feet

Seed spacing - 3-5 seeds in a ring about 2 inches across.

Thinning - when plants are 2-3 inches tall, thin to 3 or 4 of the strongest plants in each hill
